a typical weekend food trip in pancit sa bilao

i wake up at 11am and eat sinangag/bread and bacon/hotdog with scrambled eggs which my oh-so-generous brother has set aside for me. sometimes i eat a completely different meal and he gets upset ("tsk, tsk, tinira ko pa naman yan para sa ‘yo tapos hindi mo pala kakainin" )awww…

12nn - i usually don’t eat lunch (see above) but sometimes my parents get angry since we have to eat together as i family so i  dine with them even if my stomache says otherwise.

1pm - i eat lunch (if my parents let me get away with it)

3pm - tita tere cooks fishballs, i get pancit malabon from downstairs, denise makes juice and my entire family is gathered once again in our most favorite part of the house: the kitchen.

6pm - we munch on chichirya while watching the buzz. our motto: bawal tumigil ngumuya!

8pm - we eat whatever lola cooked for dinner and leftover lunch (note that these two are usually composed of entirely different dishes) and of course, mango shake!

10pm - we throw a "party" for ourselves which basically means watching whatever is on cable and munch on popcorn, juice and more junk food

12mn - we see each other in the kitchen, munching cake or left over junkfood which is our….hehe. midnight snack

we say our prayers (lord, please properly digest all the food we consumed) and sleep.

we wake up and the same thing happens all over again.

and the weirdest thing is…

we are all so freakingly thin. spend a weekend with us and see for yourself.

i DARE ‘ya

:-)

Cheeses! I was laughing so hard when I read this entry.

I don’t doubt you and your families’ digestive powers, Kitch. Tin and I have been witnesses.

haha glad you liked my entry. of course i left out a couple of particularly juicy tidbits like what happened two weekends ago when our family freaked out when we ran out of (GASP) ripe mangoes.. “pano na yung shake? bakit hindi nagpabili ng mangga?!?!” or the time when we bought a birthday cake even when there wasn’t a celebrant.
oh the crazy things we do.lol
