on the brighter side of things, i still get my weekends or at least 3/4 of it and i try to maximize that…uhm…hold on a sec..48 hours by 4, 12 times 3, 36! thirty-six work-free hours to something i can categorically classify as a pseudo summer vaycayshun!

operationally, this means me and kay getting off from work at 7:30 pm last friday and making a MAD dash to glorietta and hoard cute and affordable swimsuits by pinkbelter.  saturday morning, i drag my sister, brother (despite their objections "saka na lang ate…ayaw naming nognog sa graduation!") to the nearest, cleanest body of water (riviera poolhouse) to swim. my first summer dip. yay! we go home at around 1pm and this is when i realize that i have a slight sunburn because i forgot to put sunscreen on my legs. it hurts, but hey, nothing like a not-so-serious sunburn to get into the summer season right?! the following weeks include trips to fontana, camsur, ternate/laguna,  dumaguete,  bora not necessarily in chronological order.there will be minor adjustments due to the curse of "allowable number of leaves" but i’m sure i’ll squeeze most of these in…right?! (fingers crossed)
